Telling Tales: children’s stories and entertainment in the park

September 15, 2013

What: I’m helping organize a celebration of stories in many forms!
When: Sunday, September 15, 10:00-4:00
Where: Westfield Heritage Village, Rockton, Ontario

About: Step through Westfield’s Gates of Time into a beautiful historic village where Canada’s leading children’s authors, illustrators, storytellers and musicians bring stories alive. Proceeds go to local literacy projects.

Whether you have a newborn or a sixteen-year-old – our festival has something for every age. Avid readers and, most importantly, reluctant readers will find this a rewarding experience. Parents, grandparents, educators, aspiring writers and illustrators, established writers and illustrators, storytellers, musicians, literacy champions, history buffs and lovers of stories will enjoy Telling Tales.

A new annual family experience to take your grand-children to years from now. A place to discover what’s new and what’s never forgotten in the realm of children’s stories.
