What: Presenting “From Pre-planning to Assessment: Designing Story Dramas for the 21st century”
When: Saturday, October 20, 10:45am
Where: Nottawasaga Inn Resort, Alliston Ontario
Emphasis will be on creating story dramas with contemporary multimodal strategies (e.g., spoken word, garage band, digital newscasts) alongside traditional drama techniques (e.g., role play, tableaux, corridor of voices). Additionally, by using pre-texts that focus on current and relevant issues the presenters will address how to approach issues of equity and social justice in Ontario’s 21st century P/J classrooms.
