Picture Books as Performance workshop

What: Workshop for student teachers and writers
When: November 7, 2:30p.m.
Where: Centre for Research in Young People’s Texts and Cultures, University of Winnipeg

All are invited to attend “Picture Books as Performance”, a workshop with Dr. Kari-Lynn Winters, Assistant Professor at Brock University and Picture Book Author. This workshop will explore how educators may connect with children in order to develop semiotic and critical practices, and to participate in developing their literate communities. This workshop is recommended for student teachers, educators, and others interested in young people’s texts and cultures, picture books, and cross-media literacies.
